HACCP documents for your food business in Lithuania

Every food business in Lithuania must hold a self-control system based on HACCP principles. If you run a cafe, bakery, kiosk or small shop and Lithuanian is not your language, this is the part that usually stalls.

What you actually get

A complete self-control folder for your specific business: the system description, hazard analysis, the log forms your staff will fill in, allocation of responsibilities, traceability procedure and the recall instruction. It is the set a VMVT inspector asks to see.

You fill in a questionnaire about your business in English. We build the documents from your answers, not from a template with someone else's company name in it.

One thing to be clear about

The documents are issued in Lithuanian. VMVT accepts them only in Lithuanian, so that is not a choice we can make. What happens in English is everything else: the questionnaire, our questions, the explanations and the handover. We also write a short English summary of what each document is for, so you know what you are signing and what your staff must record.

How it works

  1. You fill in the questionnaire about your business: what you make, where, how many staff, what equipment you have.
  2. We prepare the folder in 3 working days, based on HN 15:2021 and the current food safety rules.
  3. You receive a PDF and editable log forms. You sign them as the operator and start recording. Nobody needs to visit your premises.

Who this is for

People running a food business in Lithuania who read English rather than Lithuanian. Owners of cafes and bakeries, kiosk and market traders, small producers selling online, and anyone who has just been told by an inspector that the self-control folder is missing.

Common questions

Is a HACCP certificate the same thing?

No. In Lithuania you are not certified. You must hold and apply a self-control system, and the inspector checks the documents and the records your staff keep.

We are opening in two weeks, is that enough time?

Yes. Three working days from your completed questionnaire.

Can you write the documents in English as well?

We can add an English reading copy alongside the Lithuanian originals, so you and your staff know exactly what each form records. Only the Lithuanian version is the legal one.

What if the inspector asks for something we do not have?

Write to us. If the gap is in the documents we prepared, we fix it at no charge.

Tell us what you need

We reply the same working day. You get the price and the deadline straight away, with no call and no meeting.

We handle the paperwork. On your side one Smart-ID signature remains, because the law requires it. We never ask for passwords.
